About Fine Local Honey
Most honey on supermarket shelves travels thousands of miles before it reaches you — blended, pasteurised, and stripped of any sense of where it came from.
Fine Local Honey exists because that bothered us.
We're beekeepers ourselves. It started in Sevenoaks, continued in Edinburgh, and somewhere along the way we became properly obsessed — with the hives, with the seasons, and with the remarkable way honey captures a particular place and time. We know that honey from heather moorland tastes nothing like honey from an orchard valley, and that the beekeeper who tends those hives has a story worth knowing. We built this marketplace because small producers deserved a better way to reach people who care — and customers deserved a clearer view of what they were actually buying.

What we do
We connect you directly with independent beekeepers across the UK. Every listing tells you where the honey comes from, and every purchase goes straight to the person who made it.
For beekeepers, we provide the tools to manage listings, orders and delivery without the faff — so they can spend more time with their bees.
Built by beekeepers
Fine Local Honey sits on CleverBeek — a platform we built from the ground up to support beekeepers at every stage, from hive management to selling their honey.

Supported by Techscaler
We're proud to be supported by Techscaler, a Scottish Government programme backing Scotland's digital entrepreneurs. Their mentoring and support has been invaluable in bringing Fine Local Honey to life.
