Frequently Asked Questions

📦 Ordering & payment

How do I place an order?

Browse producer profiles, add items to your cart, and checkout securely via Stripe. You can order from multiple producers in one transaction – each producer will receive their order separately and arrange delivery with you.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Payment is taken when you place your order, and it's processed securely by Stripe.

Do I need an account to order?

Yes, but it only takes 30 seconds to create one with your email. An account lets you track orders, save favorite producers, and manage your delivery preferences.

Can I order from multiple producers at once?

Yes! Your cart can include items from different producers. You'll pay once, and each producer will receive and fulfill their order separately. Delivery costs are calculated per producer.

More questions

How do I store my honey?

Store honey in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Crystallisation is natural and doesn't affect quality – it's actually a sign of pure, raw honey! To re-liquify, place the jar in warm (not boiling) water.

Are producers verified?

Beekeepers have been sharing and selling honey in their local communities for centuries – it's a natural part of beekeeping tradition. Thousands of UK beekeepers offer their honey locally, from hobby beekeepers with a few hives to established producers.

We encourage all producers to follow common-sense beekeeping and food safety practices, register with the National Bee Unit's BeeBase, and follow guidance from beekeeping associations like the BBKA, WBKA, and SBKA. See full details →
