About Inver Honey

Small producer with locally adapted bees foraging on a broad range of nectar sources, from rapeseed oil, trees, fruit, and heather. The bees are based in Auchendinny, close to my workplace, and forage the surrounding trees, farmland and pentland heather.

I'm Ian, I've lived in Edinburgh 8 years and work as a vet at the University of Edinburgh. I got into beekeeping a few years ago, having always been happiest in the outdoors and being fascinated by their eusocial structure and critical role in pollination and food production. I'm a hobbyist with a small number of colonies but delighted to share the enjoyment of the honey my bees produce.
